Re: r6 05,06 for stunt
I believe the R6 is the most superior bike in the world. Quicker, lighter, more maneuverable than any bike ever created. So indestructable that God himself could not strike it down. I know many of you have denied it in the past, but the time has come for us all to realize......God rides an R6.:YEAH
i swear i seen a post like this before, but i duno about the indestructable part.
of the bike after the setup??
havent taken any action shots lately, just been concentrating on riding.

i had my handbrake on, but i took it off, because i wanted to practice the basics on this bike, and not be going ballz out. handbrake will go back on next week.
the funny thing about this bike is, that it doesnt feel powerfull down low, but you actually have all the power you need.

still the same ole' R6, but i use its downfalls to an advantage. the quirkyness, and the flat tourqe downlow helps for the small imputs. i will be at the lots this weekend really going through the paces, all i have done is **** on the street. slowest i've been going is about 15mph, so we will see whats good this weekend.

nah man, i was talking about the riding the 06 pics. Been waitin on em since you unveiled the new paint, which still, looks sick mind you. I SFed mine a couple weeks before i left the states, and damn near destroyed it the nights before i left.
Good thing is, my father in law is a gear head, and says its damn near brand new since i left. Lol, he finished up some stuff on the wife's bike too

im currently on the hunt for an f4 or 636, the only reason i havent gotten another r6 is i just dont want to put a ton of money into strengthening it up... and honestly, the motor mount/cage mounts scare me after what i went through! but i still think the r6 is the greatest bike all around.

Re: r6 05,06 for stunt
didnt get to the lots... between working on my car, and having to go to work unexpectedly, i only got to ride to work. but since half my trip to work is thru an industrial area, i had some fun.
the bike is just as strong as the 05 i feel.... it does still lagg a little bit if you cut the throttle and get back on it. but it will lift straight up from a dead stop no problem at all. the balance is uncompared.... i have ridden many bikes, from 600rr, to f4i, and gixer, etc.... (i havent gotten to ride a 636 yet. well stunting that is.) this bike still has more than enought back tourqe to barely touch the back break, i have the idle stock, and the throttle is sooo smooth, it barely requires much imput. the balance is so good, slight movement of the body is what makes the corrections instead of the throttle, and breaks.
stoppies, i am just getting used to, but i can roll em alot farther than on the 05. with all the weight at the front of the bike, the **** shoots straight up to just about bp on the stoppies.... i am still fearing bp stoppies, so i only get it at the end of the stoppie.
i am off tomorrow, so i will definitely get some footage for you guys tomorrow.
remember when you see the footage tomorrow, this is still on my track setup, stiff *** suspension, and barnette racing clutch pack, and i have only gotten maybe 7 minutes stunt time on it. no excuses, but just dont expect me to be doing anything crazy... no cage, no handbrake, and full pressure... how a street bike should be!!!:YEAH

Re: r6 05,06 for stunt
If anyone is planning on stunting an 03-05 please do this mod to the fuel pump to save you head ache at the stunt spot. I would imagine this applies to 06+r6s and not sure about the 06+r6.

Pictures towards bottom of 1st page.
The problem that happens with these bikes is that the fuel pump splits into 2 pieces inside the tank if you drop it too hard. This has happened to me twice already, so i did a couple small modifications to avoid this from happening again.
