r6 05,06 for stunt

Many guys said that bike is not soo good for stunt,
what is wrong with that bike
1.I Know that subframe is week but you can make it stronger
2. balance point is higher than on other bikes

nothing is wrong with it... people just fear change.

more people are seeing the light tho', and it is becoming a quickly popular bike. once you ride one, you will never go back.

The 03-05 r6 and the 06-08 r6s model are the better choice. The new r6 model has a drive by wire throttle so you can't turn the idel up or down, so that right there would really suck. Plus they have been making the r6s model since 2003 and parts are easy to come by.
Every one and their mother are always trying to find F4i parts.

If you get a r6 get the o5 model cause it is the only year they used inverted forks and dual radiator fans.

common mis-conception, you can turn the idle up and down on em... most people just dont take the time to figure out how. they give up, and just say it cant be done.

trust me, the 06-07 model R6, is a Way better bike than the 05. i have both of them, and like i said... the 06 is far superior. put a 50tooth on the 06, and your power problems are solved in the low rpm area.

its such a pain in the *** to turn it up though and its extremely fragile, and if you do mostly lot / warehouse and do circles and drop your bike it will fall apart alot faster then the S model

you doin off the peg **** yet?

i was on my 05... havent done anything on the 06 yet, as far as off the peg stunts. just sitdowns and standups.

i will be this week tho'. i havent had the time to ride lately, so i will be riding more this week. the 06 is far better balanced, it sits at balance point, and you dont even have to touch the brake. so i figure it should be a far better street machine.

truest words ever typed on stuntlife.

like i said, people are scared of change... yamahas are just about the best bikes out there, and if you get over being scared about the subframe drama, is far superior.

Re: r6 05,06 for stunt

Hey Everyone!

Here you have some better picture of the idle screw, Is not much to say I think the pictures says It all?.. Also I made a new 12 bar for orginal rear subframe.

First up Is 3 picture from the throttle bodies there the screw Is mounting.
I drilled a whole "M5" and just bolt that little yellow thing that you see on the pictures on to the throttle bodie. Just make sure that everthing is straight on to the little thing that the screw push. The idle on yamaha R6 -06 Is wery sensitive so you dont have to screw *** much as you think.
If I have been indistinct about everthing I just said just send me a PM or a E-mail and I will help you untill you succed!

And the Old "bling bling" rear subframe In Alu did not make It.
so I started to build a 12 bar on my orginal subframe
on the picture down below you can se how I did It. Is not 100 % I will make Ac Farias stay from my foot sticks just to make sure that i can run this bike whole summer without any problems!

Any Questions?
