Re: r6 05,06 for stunt

im no pro stunter or anything, but as a person starting out learning i had an 04 r6 and my buddy has an 03 r6... both of them when dropped snapped the frame motor mount, driving the cage into the motor head and cracking it. i twelved it, sub frame fine, i dropped it numerous times and fine, but as soon as i dropped it on the right side, snap! we were using fi cages and so far all ive been told is that was our problem... make sure you get the right cage for your bike. i love r6s, light, easy to toss around, just brittle if dropped to hard. obviously if i wasnt still in the learning process i wouldve had better success with my bike... but hey its what i had!

Re: r6 05,06 for stunt

yo i just got done looking at the new 08's and mean i dig the fact that have the throttle control to smooth out the response and that the new YCC-I helps with low end however if you gear it now im sure it will be great however the frame is killing me and im not sure if it can handle the drop here and there...

Every one and their mother are always trying to find F4i parts.

If you get a r6 get the o5 model cause it is the only year they used inverted forks and dual radiator fans.
So the rumor is true they did go electronic..... BOO

Re: r6 05,06 for stunt

ok, so i have been riding the 06 all week with the 15/49 520 setup.

BY FAR THE BEST R6 TO STUNT YET!

but that is just my oppinion. it doesnt have the downlow tourqe that the 5sl posesses, but jesus this thing is so balanced, and light. you have to kinda really get after the throttle, but when it is up, it just sits there.... i barely touch the brakes.

i have been working more on stoppies than wheelies with it tho, but i will definitely get some footae on here soon.

oh, and i have been so busy riding this thing, i havent gone to finish the paper work on the 08 yet. not sure if i want it now, i think i want another 07.:YEAH

Re: r6 05,06 for stunt

I believe the R6 is the most superior bike in the world. Quicker, lighter, more maneuverable than any bike ever created. So indestructable that God himself could not strike it down. I know many of you have denied it in the past, but the time has come for us all to realize......God rides an R6.:YEAH
