how to fix the fuel pump issue after droping r6 hard
Well last night i dropped her pretty hard , and for the second time if i remember correctly a line popped off the fuel pump? i forget what it was exactly, but before i take it apart again, i was wondering if anyone knew a fix for this problem. thanks
and please no comments on how brittle the r6 is. its what i got and its what i like.

its something on the inside tank side of the fuel pump. not a hose under the tank. eh. ill just get started and figure something out. let you guys know how it goes

They have these things called hose clamps they sell at the auto parts store... you just slip it over the hose and tighten it with a flat head screwdriver or one of them fancy sockets

ok well i fixed the issue and did a couple small modifications so this wont happen again. will post pictures as soon as i can. :YEAH

ok. so my stupid camera decided to take a dump on me and out of all days today. i have the pictures on my camere but it wont read any memory card i throw in it to transfer the pictures.

Ok so i found the hardwire to the camera and was able to get the pictures. Here is what i saw when i took out the pump lol

These are the steps i took so this wont ever happen again
Filed down these tabs to make some room..

Drilled a hole here

And zip tied the **** together. I had to cut the tab on the sensor bracket to make room for the zip tie. If you look closely its to zip tie on the right

and Presto. If you don't file down the tabs, the zip tie will create too much of a space and the pump wont fit into the tank. Easy fix for a common problem. Hope this helps fellow r6 riders.
