Re: Gsxr Help Page-
I got a question that may already been answered but here is a shot.
Got a 04 GSXR 600 and my throttle body went out again. The butterfly valve or sensor I think. Wont rev past like 8k but can I just by pass that and keep the throttle valve open? Need some feedback before I have to buy another throttle body for this thing

the best way to do it, is to drill a hole and put a pin/bolt(something to keep butterflys open) in the T/B's so the secondary butterflys cant close/move! the pin should hold the plates(flaps) wide *** open! DONT GET METAL SHAVINGS IN THE T/B's.....
your FI light will flash but it's cheaper than buying new T/B's. keep all your electrical **** hooked up! Last edited by CHADf; Jun 7, 2008 at 05:22 PM.
Re: Gsxr Help Page-
bought my 04 1000 a few months ago from a stealership...whenever i go to leave quickly from a dead stop my bike makes a horrific sound and sometimes stalls. its really hard to explain. i had my friends ride the bike, and they all get the same sound...any chance gsxrs have some weird clutch problem? its kind of like its chattering, but i leave with the rpm's pretty high, so i know its not that. suggestions?

Re: Gsxr Help Page-
has anyone else had the check come up in the temp box on the gauge cluster. thinking maybe one of my temp sensors is bad????? all i know is the check comes up then the temp comes up after. and the temp jumps all over the place.
Re: Gsxr Help Page-
check your fluid level, if your radiator is low it will jump all over the place.
