i got this cable for the f4i but the screw was too long to fit it in the hole. there wasnt enough clearence from the hole and the cylinder head. how did you jimmy it to fit?

So everyone recommends a 900RR but the 600RR is longer?

Re: F4i idle screw relocation

i got an f4i cable, then i could not get it to work right, my friend told my to grind the end all the way down to where the threads start. I did that and it works good now. I think it takes longer to warm up now though

Re: F4i idle screw relocation

i know this post goes back a few yrs but heres my deal, in between the two screws on the throttle bodies(the one u put ur new idle cable in) there is a lil screw with a 8mm nut and a slit on the top of it, wtf does it do and does it have a certain setting cuz i accedently took it out but i put it back in and tightened it up but now it backfires and sounds like theres like an intermediate miss so i changed the plugs but still no luck
