F4i idle screw relocation

When the engine is cold the same valves let more air in , and the ECU gives more fuel because the engine is cold. But when engine is warm you don't get no extra fuel when you increase idle speed with the stock adjuster. This is probably the reason why the idle goes inregular if you increase the idle too high with stock adjuster.
This new adjuster adjust the throttle butterfly's, now the throttle position sensor also turns and ECU knows that throttle has been opened more and gives more fuel to compensate. Basicly the mixture is depending on the stock adjuster position, so you can make it little leaner with opening the stock cable or making it richer by closing it.

my idle is set at ~1000
it seems really rich though.
so your saying to turn it up until it runs right?
when i turn the stock idle cable up it runs up the idle.
it used to idle fine before...
i just want it to idle stock

thanks for your help.
Re: F4i idle screw relocation
you have to have the right balance between the stock idle adjuster and the new one(which used determine the butterfly's rest position). that's why the stop screw is painted white, so no-one would tamper with it.
Basicly I'm little wrong by saying the fuel injection cannot compensate the idle adjuster opening, because there is this fuel rail pressure regulator which get pressure input from the maniford(under the butterfly's.) So when you open the adjuster, the manifold vacuum drops a little and fuel rail pressure gets higher. To is sort of compensates the fuel amount anyway.?

It is the 900rr cable right? i put one on my bike but it wasnt long enough to come out by the neck of my bike. I had to run it down and out the side by my radiator.

Re: F4i idle screw relocation
I've got a mod or Carb'd bikes -using a Hornet (cb600/900F) choke lever on the left h-bar.
Its cable runs to a chain (like a bathtub plug chain) that pulls on the throttle linkage nr the idle adjust. You can set your idle with left thumb and tweak it to perfect rpm then it stays there untill you shut throttle or move the lil lever back again.
The chain is used so you can still open close the regular throttle without effecting the idle youve set with thumb lever. -It rocks! I can set revs upto 8-9000 cruise control or cheat at no-throttle-hand wheelies.

so number 7 on this page is all ii need (screw set stop)? only $17 the 900rr one is $12 whats the difference just length?
