all of this is really good info... but i see most like moto x style gloves and the price of the mechanix jump off gloves... i am gonna try to blend the style and price...

+ 1000 FOX dirtpaw. I only ripped 1 pair in 2 years and that was only cuz I landed on loose gravel and a big o rock went threw the palm But Ive went down and slid on my hands before and did no damage to me or my gloves:YEAH

hears a question what the hell do the carbon knuckles even do? real good for a fight and thats all i see them good for. dont no bout u guys but i have never fell on my knuckles. now my palms thats were the carbon should be.

lol good point.... i guess it is for more street riding or something... but i guess i never thought about it that way before

ya i always see my friends buy thees expensive gloves with all this crap on them and when they go down they have a glove with no palm and a palm full of pavement. i prefer to spend were it will make a difference that just me though. u could make a pare of gloves with spikes and plastic crap all over them and i can tell u that my dumb *** friends will dive in and buy them and come tell me how great they are bla bla bla. but if u can make some gloves that the palms can take a beetin im in cause im still learnin and i usualy end up behind my bike knees and palms scrapin ha ha ha

i have got a few ideas for gloves... and making them last longer on the palms.... but i will have to have some prototypes made... to see how comfy they are...and how much feel you are going to get

i rock the smx 6 astars gloves. i got em a little small too so when they break in theyre perfecto! just enough padding to not get those pebbles in ya hand. mad feel too

i know everyone says they love being protected in the palm...
but in my opinion i dont actually go down that hard that often
and for me i'd rather have feel and grip over a super thick palm pad anyday...
buy a pair of new gloves if i ever go down bad enough to rip the palm
just my opinion cause i have both thick and thin gloves

my clutch and brake fingers and palms always go first.....add some padding bishop......thin but tough.

ive been using icon pursuit which feel really nice but not much protection.....

after busting wrists 4 times i got them teknic scaiphod gloves! there the **** but are kinda bulky and you lose all the feel.....

im the same as Crash AZ..... clutch and brake fingers go then the palms!

I've been wearing Icon Super Duty's for about 4 years. But sometimes when its really hot out I'll wear answer dirt gloves.
