anyone out there rollin long stoppies with an ohlins damper...wat setting do u run it on? just got mine and i dont kno how stiff it needs to be and dont wanna find out the hard way...

I run a Scotts on my gixxer, and I turn it all the way up. I'm not going very far though- my best so far is a consistent 325-350ft. I know a couple people that run 2 dampers on gixxers, so the stiffer, the better as far as I can tell.

 

Anyone ever bring up a wheelie and forget to back off their damper?? Man I hate that feeling!!

 

I did that today...its kinda scary if you're not ready for it. I like how it makes me crash when I try to turn into my driveway just as I remember that I forgot to turn it down.

I have an ohlins on my 929 and keep it pretty soft.. When its too hard you can't steer stoppies for ****

 

i have a hyperpro on my 00 R1 and i leave it fairly soft i dont like the feeling of not being able to turn.
