I have a 01 katana 6 (ya laugh, whatever)and when I'm clutching them up I've tried to use one finger, but with it all the way in to my middle knuckle it's still slipping somewhat, so it comes up easier with using two fingers.

I had the same trouble when i started messing with one finger clutching. Also you guys that are hitting your fingers. You don't really need to pull the clutch in that far. You just need to slip it a little bit.
when im just ridin i dont pull it in that far.. i do when i clutch up a wheely tho
