how did just the #2 flood? maybe start with the cheapest and have the carbs synchronized and change plugs? during this, if there is a problem you'll found out.

Re: Flooded Carb

yeah i am not sure either how only the 2nd carb flooded. all i know is when i took off the air box the number 2 had gas all the to the brim. of the bowl. someone mentioned that a float pin might be stuck orworn out. i am honestly not sure this is my first carb bike. and if it is anything like car carbs i know i am in for a not so lovely treat. but i guess i should start out with the basics and have them re sync and new plugs. any idea how to drain the number 2 carb or how to even pull out the carbs.?

Re: Flooded Carb

without knowing excactly what your looking for this is gonna be hard for me to explain but there is a metal tab that ia conected to you float assymbly, you need to bend this tab down so that the bowl doesn;t get as full, but you can bend it too much so be carefull. Find a manuall and a michrometer, and you will be able to get the measurements exact.

Re: Flooded Carb

when i had my f2, i had the same problem. i found out it was the needle and jet. at idle it was pouring gas into the cylinder cuz the needle wasnt sitting all the way into the jet, so it leaked and flooded. alls i did is take that carb apart and cleaned the needle and the hole the needle is in and put it back together and spun the needle a couple of times and it worked fine after that...
