unless youre debating between synthetic or standard, all oils are basically the same, just different additives. theres only a few refineries that actually make the oil, the companies you buy it from just put it in their bottles. so youre basically buying a name, not performance.

well idk about most but im a believer in yamalube, got a bud that is over 200lbs and drained the oil in the 50 to change it when he was drunk,forgot to fill it, rode the next day for half a day w/o any oil, bike started getting sluggish, then he remember...no oil, filled it up and the bike still runs to this day....gotta be somethin good in that yamalube...

Plus......Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer.....FTW!!!!

ya i may give it a go next change...only b/c U say so tho!!! hahaha and yes i already run the stabilizer...figure you need all the help you can get w/ these weak 636 trannys
btw....how was the ffc?? im try to hit the next stop!

but doesn't it say earlier in this post that 'moly' is bad for rocket clutches? and you're now saying to add lucas oil stabilizer which is basically moly in a bottle. haha.... im cornfused

I know nothing about the actual scientifics behind all this jibber-jabber.....all I know is that Castrol GTX and Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer work GREAT in motorcycles, and cause absolutely NO problems. I wouldn't say this if I hadn't ran the combo in all my bikes for the past few years.....and I've always ran Castrol GTX solo before that. 43,000 miles on my F3 with nothing but Castrol....ran like the day I rolled it off the showroom floor when I sold it. Don't waste your $$$ on expensive oil....you're throwing your $ away....
