My Brakes are locking up! HELP
I put a NEW radial master on my bike for my hand break, used the same line I had before, put new brake pads on my bike, bleed it, now my brakes are locking up!
If I let the pressure out it works alright for a few mins and than it goes right back to locking up!
Anyone have a clue what might be causing my problems?

Re: My Brakes are locking up! HELP
The radial master is a front 05gsxr750 radial master..
When I am riding it slowly applies more and more pressure and than ends up locking up.. THIS SUCKS..
Than u can't pull the lever in because it is rock hard, and the foot brake is the same way......

Re: My Brakes are locking up! HELP
you either
[1] over filled it and when the brakes get hot the fluid expands and applies the brakes
[2] you have a piece of dirt in the master
[3]you put an after market lever on that isn't allowing the master to fully release
[4]you need to shorten the pin in the master that the lever pushes on

Thanks OMR I think that's my problem.
And I thought MAYBE with the way the line is routed it had to go straight up to much and wasn't allowing it to release the pressure. I am a complete idiot when it comes to working on bikes.. I checked the first 3 things that u stated and it wasn't any of them.
Mike what are u running for a hb?

The same thing happened to me a few years ago. I had my rear master welded and the welder got hot magma into the master and clogged it. It would be fine and just build up pressure untill it locked up and then if you let it sit it would be good again. You probably got some dirt in you master somehow. Take it apart and clean it out.
