ok so first my battery went bad changed that then figured out my stator was bad changed that and now im pretty sure the rectifier is bad too. i was just wondering if this was some thing that was common where when one goes they all go or if this is a rare situtation. i ordered a new rectifier/regulator today just bummed im gonna miss the weekend ride. any info will be greatly appreciated.

my bet is it was your rectifier all along.

i made the same mistake...

changed batt
then stator
then rectifier

...then i checked the old stator and it was fine.

 

yea that's wat I'm thinking but watever

 

they're both pretty sensitive pieces, but usually its the reg/rect unit that ***** the bed.

well i ordered a new regulator off ebay the other day and i ordered one from the local shop too so thatll be here tues so hopefully itll be all good after tues
