Question GP Tech bleed problem

I got the GP Tech handbrake setup last week and tried to install and bleed it. The problem is that after we bled the master cylinder and worked on getting all the air out of the system, it was sucking air from somewhere in the lines, which made it up to the master cyl and then bubbled out into the reservior. I reused the O-ring that was already on there, but there was movement in that valve thing when we were bleeding the line from the lever to the stock foot lever. Should I get a new O-ring or upsize it before starting the process again? Anyone else had a problem like this and fixed it? thanks

Re: GP Tech bleed problem

I was thinking along the lines of a gasket maker or something like that around the mating area.

and yeah, it's held on by that little screw on there.

Re: GP Tech bleed problem

Re: GP Tech bleed problem

i didnt have anything holding mine on but that little screw and on my 636 its just a C clip that holds it in never had a problem with either maybe its your master cyclinder some might be machined a little big dont really know. i would have to take a look at it myself to see what the problem is.

Re: GP Tech bleed problem

I'm gonna try something. I'm not getting a full throttle setup, maybe I should have gotten one from the start, because that's like 500 bucks for a HB setup with the two costs combined and I can't stomach that at all.
