04 SV 650s clutch replacement ?'s

Ok so my buddy is a fairly new rider and I guess he was heavy on the clutch during burnouts. Well he fried his clutch at biketoberfest this past weekend.....

The bike will rev high but not go when he rolls on the throttle aggressively. If he rides like a granny it will accelerate some.

So He needs a new clutch, and guess who gets to help with the install.

So any tips on installing a new clutch in an sv650s 2004 model. Also what would you suggest for a clutch replecement?

I put a barnett kevlar clutch in my f3 with HRC springs and I really didnt care for it.

Anyone have experience with EBC or Vesrah clutches? Like em, don't like em? Good for wheelies, clutch life better or worse than stock?

Thanks

Steven

Anyone else have an opinion on clutches? I am going stock again in my 929 when I replace it.

Nah, didnt try adjusting it down at the bottom. It doesn't look like you can adjust it too much. It mounts at the front sprocket cover area right?

Like I said, I havent wrenched on suzuki's. If it was a honda I would have already been cracking the clutch cover open to check it out.

Anyone know where I can get a pdf 2003-2006 sv 650 service manual?

Thanks
