stoppie problems... wobbles and turning em

ok i've never really played with stoppies much till lately.... like the FIRST time i role one instead of just doing the gay *** donkey kick stoppies was like a month ago... anyway i've gotten wo where i can pull em up from 30-40 mph but i'm only rolling em 50-60ft i know i COULD roll em farther and i know where stoppie bp is but every time i get cose to it i get bad tank slappers and damn near lose it. i have a 954 front end on my f4i and i feel like it shouldnt get wobbles this bad and that easy but it happens about 90% of the time that i yank it strait up close to bp above 25 or so... below that im fine.... on and the tire is in great shape running about 27-28 psi. is there something i'm doing wrong or something i need to check on my setup or what

my next issue is turnin em.... ive tried and tried but i cant get it someone please explain how!

Steering dampner will help w/ the head shake. get good at steering em first then try to turn em....... My boy D-lish would be a good person to ask on turnin em.

maybe you are not keeping your arms stiff enough , i was rolling a couple hundred feet before i got a damper but they were power stoppies no where near balance point untill the very end.......

but i would still get a damper

yea i can keep em from wobbling if i do power ones until the end too... i'll try stiffening up my arms today and we'll see how that works. i guess its time to bight the bullet and buy a gpr though.

Re: stoppie problems... wobbles and turning em

sometimes if i get a little wobble bringing it up, i pull it up a tad bit higher to help get rid of the wobble of death. the higher the bike, the easier they are to turn for me. hope this helps

Re: stoppie problems... wobbles and turning em

my friend nick told me to look where you go instead of down at the floor this has hlped me with my wobbles although im sure my frame is pissed as i always fall to the right even with my weight on the left or adverswe camber... still gos to the ****** right as soon as i lift... and believe me i can get upto bp quick enough... i got a new 636 the other day (04 model) so if i roll em straight on this i know it's the bike... look where you go not at the florr maybe this might help yo wombles!!
