if you read the thread you will see that you probably have too much oil in your bike and yes it is harmlessly going directly to your exhaust ...well harmless to your bike but the mosquitos are dropping like flys

i fill mine just below the top of the site glass

Re: kleen air on my 636-good idea!

All i see is a buch of people connecting there case vents together in a constant loop. You got the vents of the top of the valve cover and the vent off the lower crank case/trans case... Explain to me WHERE the crank case pressure is going? cause in stock form the hoses were connected to the air box thus creating a negative pressure and the positive crankcase pressure was going in to the air box thus getting rid of the pressure and gasses. I understand this mod to eliminate the stuff going in to the motor and i understand 636 can suck the oil in to the air box

What i am getting at SHOW me another exit point on the motor for the crankcase pressure to get expelled off to.. cause it sure looks me you all are sealing up your motor ..which only place for the crankcase pressure to go is either, passed the rings when the piston is at Bottom dead center.. since the cylinder walls are tapered at the bottom of the cylinder it would allow the gases to pass by the piston..

This is just my engineering background kicking in.. I just wanna know where the other exit point is for the crank case pressure OTHER then past the piston when its reached its BDC stroke. Is there another outlet some other place? Someone show me. Cause if not i am not going to seal up the vents on my motor. Which can lead to premature wear , smoking and all other kinds of not fun stuff

Can someone answer these questions?

you didnt read the thread because there was a two page argument on exactly what you are talking about and wheeliest had a head off the motor and blew air right to the exhaust port but since you are not gonna read it just like 50 other people i will explain it agian so no one reads your post and misunderstands this mod ....

the two square boxes on top of the valve cover have reed valves in them and the reed valves act like one way doors that only allow a vacuum , the vacuum is created by the exhaust via a port that goes from the front of the exhaust port to the bottom of the reed valve ...

this mod creates a vacuum in the crankcase not pressure ..if you do the mod correctly and place your hand over your filler hole with the bike running you will feel suction and when you rev it you will feel more suction ..

all this has been discused in this thread over and over again but no one reads the thread

the only vacuum line you need to plug is the one that comes off the back of the pair valve , no other lines get plugged , i think the hose you are talking about is the overflow for your tank and you dont block that

yes there are two sensors one reads manifold pressure and the other reads atmospheric pressure , the one needs to be open and the other will have a vacuum line going to it from the factory..
