read the 636 kleen air mod thread. I just did it to my buddies f4i. They discuss the f4i on like page 13 i think. also I posted some pics of the finished product but can't remember where

Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

Theres 3 wires to the tip over sensor.
Cut all three, take off that dam thing. and connect the outer two wires. leave the middle wire hang.

can simply use elec tape. its the first thing i do to my f4i's

this wont effect the bike at all

Just cut the red and green wire and splice them toghter. You can find your tip over sensor hooked on the top of your f4i Lights. So Cap off the white and tie the red and green toghter.

Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

OK . i have read you have to cut these three wires and splice two of them together, and if you dont splice these two wires together, it wont start.?

SO, before i knew about this tip over sensor, i had already removed guages, and fairings and cut every wire except the ignition wires and the two for a headlight. i remember a couple wires had to be connected to make it start.

My bike still cuts out at 12 but not when tipped over. gas is full... whats wrong with it yet???? anybody know????

Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

I was wondering if you had to cut and splice the wires at the sensor and not from the connector?

Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

okay, so i just did the mod, green to red, white capped off, but it wont start. there is a solenoid under my seat that "clicks" now. not sure if that means its busted, or if i just never heard it before. anybody know. its not the starter solenoid, i recently replaced that and know which one that is.

Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

just a side note, dont cross the wrong wires cuz youre drunk and not paying attention, it will blow the fuel pump when you try to fire up the bike. thats 70 bucks you dont need to spend on ebay
