duuude did you read my post i said switch them the one in the center(screw only) just screw in where the cable one(stock one goes)and cable one in the center. your not gonna need to adj. the stock one just do it from the cable in the center.

i don't know what yall are talkin about, but i took out the stock idle "stop" and screwed my Cable in where that goes.. and I've got NOOOOO problem.. well, you can get it to stall if you unscrew it all the way.. and you can still get it WAAYYYYY up there in the Rpms' to get up around 45mph..

does the actual throttle grip turn if you set the second cable to 3krpm? or is it all internal?

 

i did this last night, and now it seems to idle rough.

i dont turn my idle up all the time, is ther anyway to smooth out the regular idle?
or do i need to put the stock idle cadle back in its stock location and get another cable to turn it up?

yes it turns the throttle bodies open, which pulls on the throttle cable.

But. anyways...again YES YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THE STOCK IDLE ADJUST CABLE and ADD A SECOND ONE to the throttle bodies or the bike will not run right (or at all on a 600rr)

Here is what I added to make turning up idle even easier go buy a rubber hose from an auto parts store zip tie over your extra idle screw know and just run it out the right side of the bike easy to turn up and down even with gloves on! :YEAH

i left a screw out (see pic) and now my bike seems to run like **** at part throttle?

The normal idle adjuster does not adjust the butterfly's. It adjust small idle valves that let bypass air past the throttle body butterfly's. Now the thing is that adjusting this stock cable can only increase the idle very little and when you turn it, the Throttle position sensor does not turn, so the mixture goes lean. When the engine is cold the same valves let more air in , and the ECU gives more fuel because the engine is cold. But when engine is warm you don't get no extra fuel when you increase idle speed with the stock adjuster. This is probably the reason why the idle goes inregular if you increase the idle too high with stock adjuster.

This new adjuster adjust the throttle butterfly's, now the throttle position sensor also turns and ECU knows that throttle has been opened more and gives more fuel to compensate. Basicly the mixture is depending on the stock adjuster position, so you can make it little leaner with opening the stock cable or making it richer by closing it.
