About a week. Chew nicotene gum and sunflower seeds.

At least for me after about 1 box I couldn't stand chewing anymore of the gum and that was the end of the quitting process.

2 moths later I started dipping again.

that's the real problem.....I loved smoking......even if it smelled bad which I didn't really realize till I quit.......and I LOVE dipping.......but my gums are beat the **** up......and I put $12K into my teeth after my accident....so dipping really is retarded.......

That's the thing, I love to dip, I enjoy an occasional smoke when I am hammered, but the gum is not enjoyable at all. The only thing good about it is the nicotene that barely takes the edge off. Other than that it makes your throat sore and has a weird taste.

Looks like short selling my house and staying current on my mortgage through the process is the way to go.

Re: Track riding

Got the 650 main power wires to the starter hooked up and bumped over the engine. Going to buy a compression tester tonight to see what it is pushing. Still to do:
Go to Flint to pick up exhaust gasket and battery
Install exhaust "U' pipe
Wire up coil/solenoid/CDI
Hook up fuel lines
Fill up fuel tank

It's a good way to go from a tin every other day to nothing without wanting to claw your skin off.
