Ford currently has the best warranty. (says the guy who just got back from the warranty part review and is now calling into a different quality meeting)

If you look at the list whats this? caddilac, an american brand, is BETTER than honda, toyota... cheverolet (gm's main brand) is 2 (out of a hundred) behind toyota? man, run for the hills! And domestics are 4 of the top ten name plates? Quit living in the past, truth is, this is the best time in history to own a new domestic.

Americans build great products. If you look past the auto industry into agriculture, the US produces the top brands. Using unionized labor producing top quality products.

They're still ugly.

As far as cars, there are so many people brainwashed into thinking that the only good cars come from Japan. That's simply not the truth. You can get an american car that gets the same or better fuel mileage, will last just as long, and costs you thousands less initially.

Re: Are we really that stupid?

The blast was a huge turd, it didnt even really count as a Buell. And the single problem with the american car industry is the UNION. if they could get rid of it or make some serious changes, the domestic market could drop MSRP's way down. I'll still take an SRT8 challenger or Viper or ZO6 any day!!

I didn't know they discontinued the blast. I do get a supplier discount on Harelys and Buell's, but I don't see myself buying one anytime soon.

What crack pipe you smok'n. We can't even build enough Camaro's to meet the demand. The car smoked every other car in it's class, from HP to braking

Corvette ZR1 smokes the Italian Richy cars for half the price.

New CTS smokes Beemers half the price

The only thing (thank GOD) we don't make is a stupid Prius, Carola, Cameri and whatever but ugly vehicles Japan is making. The only vehicle we currenty make with any amounts of poor warranty is the AVEO, and that stupid thing is made in Korea. But when you can buy one new for 9K, get what you pay for I guess.

I don't know, but right now GM is making the badest azz vehicles I've ever seen. I wouldn't have said that 10 years ago, but now. How can you even argue it anymore.

Just my two cents.
