Ok, so I have an 01 f4i and the FI light is on, everything seems fine except for the fact that the muffler I have on it has the 02 sensor but there is nothing on the bike to actually plug it into. I know where the sensor should be on the bike (left side above the stator) because I knew where it was on my old 02 f4i. No where to be found on the 01. Is that because of the year or did the previous owner rip it out? Any idea on how to install one?
Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but I want this damn light to go away, or at least find out if its something else causing the FI light.
