What will Rob Durren come up with next.
Re: What will Rob Durren come up with next.
Hm new guy here. Question for you though RJD. Im just getting used to things around here and the attitude of people but seriously. How many people have to tell you that your a **** up and that they dont like you before it (really) sinks in?

Re: What will Rob Durren come up with next.
on a side note: BMW is racing World SuperBike next year! I can't wait to see the trickle effect!!! and i believe the traction control is in GP not WSB.
on another note, there is NO WAY to effectively sit on the front fender of a full fairing bike with no axle pegs. i've tried more than once and broken more than one fender.
thad, wish i was racing again...thinking of stealing an r6 from argos for the track this fall.

Re: What will Rob Durren come up with next.
first i cant believe no one anywhere hasn't done this before,, but...
put front pegs on a pos and learn to ride backwards a little faster each time. think of it like a unicycle...or more like when your going down a shallow hill backwards on a bicycle..you can go for a while the more you do it.. and you lay on the rear brake. you go over fast. i started out with a pos , which is now wrecked ****. trick is you can't counter steer, or i should say its reversed.. you gotta steer the back of the bike from the front cuz your on the front and yeah you feel the weight.. you gotta do it with pressure and leaning only.. the hardest part is starting out with two hands cuz you gotta atleast have your right for the clutch and your left foot on the right peg. when rollin a little you use the handle on the tank or whereever you put it... it is a true bitch at first and you can really only go in straight lines.. and you have to have a physical connect between steering axis center and bike frame using your arm and the handle and still positioning for balance. notice the handle on my tank? you have to use the inside area between your thumb and index of your left hand to roll the thottle so you can still brake it right, otherwise your hand would be in the wrong position when it comes up and it will be pushing your whole forearm down and you can't catch the rear. when you coax the front brake its gonna come up way faster than if you were doin a reg stoppie... but its actually easier, cuz all your weight is on the front and nothing on the rear.. and you also use your body weight to increase the pitching moment of the bike around the front axle right as you brake by leaning back. and you gotta have something higher up to catch when it gets around 60-70 degrees vertical or so. i used the rear peg assembly. if you were on a bicycle you could do this no problem tomorrow. with a motorbike you have to deal with the additional weight. like i said i dropped the pos over and over before i even considered my 10 which got dropped once on the right. in the pic youll see my inside right knee against the left end cap to help stabilize the the forks.. column and rest of the bike.... letting the thing down is another story

right hand on clutch
___ hand on the "special tank grab bar",
left hand on the throttle/brake and then you use that to catch the rear ..."you have to use the inside area between your thumb and index of your left hand to roll the thottle so you can still brake it right otherwise your hand would be in the wrong position when it comes up and it will be pushing your whole forearm down and you can't catch the rear"
But if you are using this hand to catch the rear ... what happens to the brake and why are you holding the rear with your right hand in the photo
Re: What will Rob Durren come up with next.
HAHAHAHAHH... you are obviously EXTREMELY ignorant. Besides, why would Stunt Riding want to be crippled by being a part of the AMA? Stunt Riding is becoming a HUGE sport through independent companies and LARGE CORPORATIONS that are investing their time, money and efforts into the top riders in this sport. Hell, the top riders are already riding for major dealers... Kawasaki, Honda, BMW, all FACTORY SPONSORED RIDERS just like the big boys. The AMA at this point would only hinder Stunt Ridings growth. Before long, the X-Games will be knocking. Go back to riding Cowboy Burnouts on your bike RJC nut swinger!

am I the only one that noticed he was using three hands to do this?

Re: What will Rob Durren come up with next.
We?? Who's "WE" exactly? You... me... the average rider?? No. The big time riders of this sport are paving the way for everyone else. You think Moto-X over night was a huge sport? Retard... EVERY BIG CORPORATION lines their pockets, and guess what... THE BIGGER THE VENUE THE BIGGER THE PAYOUT FOR THEM. Big Corps are not in it to help the little guy get started, they are in it for one reason and that's to MAKE MONEY...(Hence the term "Corporate Greed") PERIOD!!! Every sponsor, EVER IN THE HISTORY OF ALL SPORTS is in it to gain either 2 things... EXPOSURE or MAKE MONEY which conveniently enough are synonymous with one another.
