I'm gonna have to take KELM's side on this one based on the facts presented to me. If this were to go to court the judge would say that a verbal agreement along with the action of sending funds is binding. There are laws for this reason. You cant agree to something and then just back out at the last minute. Take the loss and write it off as a lesson learned. I wouldnt refund your money either.

its so hard for me to get **** to come out the right way, and u just did it.
I can't make payments, no landlord would do that. You get your deposit at the end of your lease IF i can afford to even stay here, then i lose it all like I would have done if I had not moved in even after you backed out... do u think she would just said OK great i held it for you now u don't want it? this is life Nate, I'm not out to screw you over. jeez, this whole thing is insane.

Good thing you don't know VIRGINIA law.
I've talked to TWO different lawyers that specialize in these types of messes, and ALL of them told me to say the same thing i just had trouble getting it out you guys are like a damn pack of animals... lame

youre a god damned liar kelm. i just looked up the ****** VA law and says that it must be in writing to be valid when it comes to leasing property. so either youre full of **** which is the most likely scenario or your lawyers dont know ****. matter of fact, give me the numbers of these 2 supposed lawyers you talked to, id like to give them a call.

a verbal agreement is a valid in contractual situations in many states. much harder to hold up in court but nevertheless valid. there are certain situations where verbal is not valid, and like i stated before, in VA property leasing is one of those situations where it MUST be written to hold up in court.

ALWAYS valid, I went to JAIL for oweing someone $50 2 years ago, i agreeded to clean his car and **** came up... Sheriff Deputies arrested me I don't know what it's called but VERBAL agreeements are binding AS long as u have proof to see he entered into an agreement between him and me, something he's admitted to doing countless times and it says on comments in paypal for the money it's for deposit for the house. DEPOSIT.
