Re: Liter bikes, need your opinion please

I always prefered to stand out in the crowd, so bikes like the new beemer, the RC8, THE APRILIA RSV4 would be a first choice for me if I could afford them. Besides, if I could spend 20g's on a sport bike, I would be able to pay for parts!

But, I have always liked the Honda's for comfort and real ride-ability. I hate gsxr's.

before the beemer it was honda then kawi for me...rode all the 08's back to back to back adn the gixx and the yami were outdated...dunno about the new yami, seems sick but i dont really like the feel of it.

class leading HP, most advanced traction control/ABS of any of the bikes, 403 LBS dry....BMW...i think that's where I'm leaning! lol

me neither honestly...but a lot of people do. gotta disengage the ABS as soon as you start it or it will pile you fast if you aren't expecting it to kick in

some fast facts:
$13,800 retail (upgrades like traction control, etc are a bit more)
193 hp
400 lbs dry

class leading HP

now if you could, what liter bike would you buy and WHY?

for real please...i'm definately using this info!

CBR1000
ZX10
GSXR1000
R1
BMW 1000RR
cbr 1000rr or zx10, and my reasoning is I like both bike but reliability and I love the ride on behalf of the 1000rr and the zx10 for just the way its purpose built to race

zx10 - The reliability, the power and the look is all there, plus you can pick one up for 8000.00 now in a year or 2 when bmw works out all the first gen problems maybe.. and if it wasn't more expensive than my truck.
