Sportmax is getting more comfortable with BP, and shutting it off less as he gets there. Same problem with as me though, never gets the best ones on video!

How much idle are you running? It doesn't sound like much, I'd kick it up to 3-3.5k, and just keep working on it.
Personally I woudln't worry about anythign else but getting smoother on idle for right now. Get to where you can go all the way across the parking lot without any throttle, then work on advancing.

Also don't even worry about scraping right now.. And don't get it into your head that sticking your leg out with correct a crooken scrape.. If your scrape goes sideways, you gotta get on the brakes.. If you were going 10mph faster your leg wouldn't have done nothing and you would have hit hte ground hard..
Scraping will come to you once your able to hold wheelies forever.. You'll just be able to be wheelieing along at a certain speed, then be like "ok time to dip back and scrape, ok hit the brake and bring it back into a wheelie"

Re: Dumping the clutch

Just keep practicing you'll get it. Usually I snap it up, let off the throttle, and tap the brake. Keep working at it and soon enough it'll be second nature. Lookin real good so far!

2 people there... scrape was hazmat... So hey hazmat... listen to this guy!

Other guy not scraping was me lol. My idle seems to drop some as the session goes on, and if I'm not paying attention later on I don't notice until they start launching all boggy. That's the part of the session on the vid.

I know I'm getting close to riding idle, but I also don't want to crash again, so I'm not pushing it... I don't think my leg could take me jumping off the bike, even at like 5mph, so when I get the ***** in my sessions to go further... I have to force myself to chill out a bit, and go for slow and steady.

Not worried about scraping at the moment. When I do I do. Still working on getting higher launches, and not riding the brake.

I'll get there! My whole group will!

Pix don't be scared to wreck! it's part of the game. :YEAH

I was riding with some friends last night (rare) and one of them was rocking no lid. I was sitting there thinking "****, it's hot.. i've never hit my head.. i should take this ******* thing off" .. but decided against it.

about 3 minutes later i wadded my **** up coming off the cans sideways on idle and flipped once or twice face first into the ground. It was pretty ******* funny, i wish it were on tape!

my right wrist is trash and i've been rockin a knee brace for weeks... but i just can't stop riding long enough to heal. im like a crack addict.

Yeah, not trying to be a ***** here... but I'll put it this way... I don't think I could safely jump off of a curb onto both feet without my left leg buckling.

It's still pretty bad off. Sometimes I can walk without a limp though!

:YEAH

But even things like going up steps and pressing off my left leg has caused me to fold. My leg getting strong still has a Loooooong way to go.

So yeah. Fun.

I just need to be able to crash without hurting myself. lol.

I fractured 3 bones in my knee, everyone but the knee cap, and tore my PCL halfway about 3 years ago when a car pulled out in front of me

Looped last year August... and landed on my feet. It's been suggested I do Judo-rolls from here on out. Haha.

But yeah. ******* hurts daily. I got more sounds in my knee going on than the Kellogg Corn Pops guys breaking into a Nestle Crunch factory...

I just tell everyone I did it in a Dance Dance Revolution competition. lol.

All bionic and **** lol.

Finally! Feels like I made some progress today. Had em more smooth, and was off the brake more today... Got a few of em where I was rolling off the throttle, and off the brake too, and they kept rolling along.

I know I still have miles to go, but nice to have a day where I feel like I did something.

Here's one of the smoother ones.... well, the 2nd part:

Wish we had video of Hazmat's crash lol. That bike flipping was EPIC.
