Re: bleeding the 16x18

deff bleed the master right side up and use normal bleeding procedure. as far as the zip tie thing it don't mater if its right side up or in hb position, but bleeder should be closed. but hell leave it zip tied right side up one night, and then flip it to hb position and zip tie it again can't hurt

Re: bleeding the 16x18

the way i bleed mine was open bleeder put a tube on the bleeder screw and put the other end in the res(obviously top was off res) and just pumped for a min then clsoed the bleeder with lever depressed.

Re: bleeding the 16x18

i think he means whether or not to leave the cap off the res.
I dont think it matters as long as the fluid level in your res. is between low and high....make sure theres room for expansion when hot or when you separate your pads to change tires.....but have enough so that when you ziptie it and fluid drops to replace those last few air bubbles it doesn't run out and not have any in the res.
See those two lil lines on the res.??? put the level between em!

I usually do the zip-tie thing as well, its never negatively affected anything, so why not. I don't like leaving the cap off over night, theres bugs, dust,.....cats...I mean targets! haha

Re: bleeding the 16x18

iight....the reason i was saying to leave it open was caz i thought that the air bubble would need somewhere to go. i'll just leave it closed so manbearpig doesn't **** in it.

Re: bleeding the 16x18

16x18 sucks *****. Mine won't lock the wheel unless I pull really hard. It helps me with no throttle hand circles tho cuz I don't have to be super sensitive.
