929 Motor removal Help

I toasted my motor after my footpeg broke, and so im putting a 954 motor in, I need a little help,

I have all the other bolts out holding the motor to the frame, except where the swingarm attaches to the motor via the mini frame. Iv looked at the diagrams and still cant figure it out.

Does the huge allen spacers pop out?, they dont appear to be connected to the bolt that goes through the swingarm and motor, i placed a huge allen wrench on and it turns but doesnt seem to come out. How do i disassemble this part?

Please chime in if you have removed a 929/954 motor before.

Thanks
Jesse

the part that goes through the lower frame and the swingarm is one long bolt. outta the honda service manual for the 929 it says

Hold the pivot bolt using a 24mm socket wrench, then loosen and remove the swingarm pivot nut using the same tool.

Remove the pivot bolt and the remove the swingarm from the lower bracket and engine

the 24mm bolt the manual is talkin about is the same one you're pointing to in your pic. so it seems like you need 2 of the same size allens (one on each side) and just loosen that bitch up. hope this helped.

p.s. the torque on that is 87 ft lbs. plus its probably never been taken out....so that bitch is gonna be TIGHT...

get the tool from Ronayers. I ordered mine from them, but I think I might need the 24mm hex too.

i ended up breaking it loose, you have to keep the pinch bolt tight on the right side.
