929 back from dead.

So my 929 with a 954 motor in it,Has been sitting for over 5 years in a un heated garage. She was a full time stunter,But was treated like a nascar.Broken down and maintained like no other just cuz i had the resources. Never the less,Its still been sitting for a very long time and jap motors are not like old chev 350's,you cant jsut dump a gas down the t/b's and hit the button. Does anyone have any safe suggestions for getting her ready to turn over again? Aside from the standard''tranny fluid in the jugs'' fresh oil,exc exc. This bike means as much as my kids do,So any idea's will be greatly appreaciated.

Much like turning a car over by hand slowly, do it gently so you dont fry your rings with a hard start. Sitting for that long i would be very cautious, even fuel injected as i own an Erion edition myself. Good luck.

Yeah i had my uncle drip alil tranny fluid in the jugs and its still sitting. I'll be home in a bout a week and im gonna give it a very slow go over by hand. It's a 02' 954 motor that's actually in it. but as you know there's really minor differences in the two.
