balance point lock up's?

i figured i'd throw this on here:

when i stoppie, i usualy go about 45 ish. i bring it up to JUST below BP, im still kinda new. i ease of as it's coming up. then when it starts to go down i try to give it a little more brake to keep it in the air and the damn tire locks up. one time it threw me into a 45mph tank slapping stoppie.... try that in sickest trick lol. anyways. why is this? i have fresh pilot sports on the front. just below recommended psi (maybe 5psi lower tops).

You need to keep practicing and learn brake control. You're probably hittin the brake a little too hard. I saw your post in the stoppie thread and it's not your master cylinder. It's really easy to get headshake and tankslappers doin endos, happens all the time. Gotta keep your body stiff and you can't be too twitchy on the brake.

Thats what happens when you drastically change the rake angle of the forks. Overcorrection's a bitch.

I hear theres an easy way to fix that, check with craig jones

could be tire pressure or suspension settings or loose steering head nut or bad bearings or any number of things but I think you are giving it a lot of brake to launch the rear really high really fast, then you let off the brake too much and your forks are rebounding, and then you nail the brake again and the wheel locks before the fork goes back through its range of travel. be smoother on the brake your bringing up the rear too fast I think my
