Learning balance point but keep falling sideways

Guys, bit of advice please.

I'm learning balance point, first gear sit-downs and I keep finding that once I pop it up, prior to hitting balance point the bike starts falling to one side or the other.

I've noticed that if its falling to the right and I kick my left leg out it stops falling and straightens up. Also, its seems to go with the camber of the road (ie, towards the gutter).

What am I doing wrong? How can I fix it and keep going straight? Am I sitting a little crooked, or do I need to in order to counter the camber?

It's annoying, popping it up and having to drop it quickly because it's so crooked!

Thanks

Running low tire pressure while learning will help with that. It's also a balance thing that your just going to have to learn from practice getting your weight centered.

So after a session yesterday I checked the pressure. 36psi front, 60 psi rear.

Note to self - check my own pressure after having a service. No wonder it was pulling side to side all the time!
