Balance point help

Wassup fellas. I got a 07 gsxr with a 54tooth. I been doing sit down wheelies hitting balance point every time from 15 to 35 mph in 2nd gear. I was running 20 psi but every time I hit balance point I would wobble from left to righg like crazy and had to put the bike down. I raised the psi to 35 and it got a little better but still when I hit balance point I rock left to righg never sturdy. Can anyone please give me advice would really appreciate it.

Re: Balance point help

More pressure is gonna toss u right and left more then lower pressure. Ur balance is off on your body position prolly. And your over compensating leaning. What is your goal? Are u using the rear brake?

Re: Balance point help

Thank you for the reply appreciate it. No I haven't learned the rear brake yet but I always cover it and have used it in almost messy situations. My goal is to basically do highway wheelies in 2nd 3rd and 4th gear so I'm starting in 2nd from 15 to about 30 mph. I read somewhere that lower tire pressure was only for lots and higher tire pressure was for highway stuff. But yes currently I'm clutching it in 2nd at about 20 mph straight into balance point sitting down and I start to instantly wobble from left to right and it makes me have to put the bike down. I don't know what to do. I know I could ride the wheelie out if it wasn't for all that wobble. I tried putting more tire pressure but still the same result. When I hit balance point I feel like I'm perfextly still but maybe my body is throwing me off. Thanks for the reply GSE Nick really appreciate the help.

Re: Balance point help

^I agree, I hit balance point sitting down first n it was sketchy. I tried staggered standing up and it was much better. keep ya tire pressure at 20psi, thats helped me a lot
