Re: Scott's damper settings

I got a scotts on my 929. 6 months ago I fu#ked with the high speed valve setting on the rt. under the black cover, turned it up. Last week pulling stoppies my damper leaked oil and was loose. I sent it in to scotts last Friday. They said they just need to do an oil change and all I would have to pay was for shipping. My suggestion is just to mess with the left settings, and leave the rest alone. The right is for if you hit bumps or some shiat like that at high speeds Ive been told. There are also side settings. I havent messed with that cause it controls the range, narrow or wide of the dampening.

Thanks for your input. I'm not brave enough to start messing with all the side settings either. So I'll probably just leave them alone and keep the left nobbed cranked tight (I like to stay tight for stoppies)!! :YEAH
