Unhappy Coming down hard

Do you guys have any secrets for suddenly coming down from a wheelie, without slaming down. My ride sometimes slips out of gear, and it comes down hard, took out my head light bulbs once

Which gear is it coming out of?

Are you short shifting in a wheelie by any chance?

I told the dealer about the problem, but I cannot prove it, it only happend 2 or 3 times a week. Mostly second, but now it doe4s it in third. Slamin' down at 80 mph is sometimes scary shiat. What do you mean "till full lock"?

Full lock...wide open throttle. Yea if your in gear give it gas. Use the throttle to control the wheelie.

thanks guys, I guess my anticipation of doing a wheelie in sixth is getting the best of me, since my tranny only slips when wheeling. I still need to maser the break control.

I hear ya. Today I slamed down and snaped the brackets off that hold my engine scoop. This sucks 'cause m'bike will be out of commision for at least a week. At 100 to 200 miles/day, that adds up to almost 1,000 miles of fun. ...FUKK
