peg problem

Excellent question! most people say no worries. And for the most part, they are right, but I'm like you. 6ft 2 in and weigh 235. The only thing is to never buy LP replacement pegs. They look great, but will bend the bracket that holds them to the frame, and from my personal experience, will break. I have had two break on me coming down from stand up wheelies. Scary ****!!

5'11" 150lbs(thats as low as im going to admit to)

I think smaller riders have an advantage in alot of areas, but sometimes it would be nice to have a few extra pounds to throw around.

BTW, I think your caps lock key is stuck.

More/less weight, they both have there advatages, but I really don't like breaking a peg after a wheelie, and almost crashing x2

just don't tell them you were doing a wheelie when it happened, or have leave any evidence on the bike that would suggest the bike has been stunted

just don't buy LP products, If you buy aftermarket, make sure they are from billet, and only one piece. The Lockhart pegs are two peices, and they break at the shaft which enters the second piece. Really shitty pegs. Best bet is to stay with stock.

I'm 6' 2" and 305lbs. I ride standups all day w/o a problem. I have the pro-tekk billet rearsets.

I am 5'11" and I used to think that shorter people had an advantage. But now I think for the most part that it doesnt really matter so long as you are in shape. I need to get in shape.

Are those full rearsets or just the pegs. If it's just pegs, that's alot. I'm sure those are full rearsets right?

i think bein tall is a big advantage except for sometimes you run outta room. but i can lean back, side to side, squat down, stand straight or whatever to help me balance. makes a big difference

6 ft 6in and 320lbs! I have NO problems with stand ups and pegs breaking. the Big disadvantage to being this big is highchair wheelies. They are harder than hell to get up (-2/stock) and both times that I have been able to do a decent one, I blew out my fork seals landing it. But I think for the most part havint extra weight is an advantage. I mean, my balance point on my F4 if im leaning back is way lower than say someone thats only 120lbs. I mean hell, I almost weigh as much as my bike so its real easy to shift my weight around and balance things out.

6'5" 285lbs here. Have never really had any problems, although I wouldn't try a leap of faith anytime soon for fear of caving in the tank onto the heads! =)

I think its not how big/much you weigh - its how much of that weight is contained in the *********. Larger ***** = better stunts!

(Sorry to all the women stunters out there..... not sure what larger 'parts' you have)
