Issue: main fuse blows as soon as I clip on the cover that covers the fuse.
I have narrowed it down to the regulator/rectifier as it does not blow when I have the two clips for it unplugged. I have a R/R from a friend that's not new and it also blows the fuse.
I have traced the wires and have come up with this. There was two wires severed so close to each other I couldn't tell if they were touching and it was all taped up. I tried attaching the wires(that were of the same color) and it still blew a fuse. I'm going to get more fuses tomorrow but was hoping someone could give me some feedback. I am far from a mechanic and even less of an electrician so anything is appreciated!
