GSXR dies after 10-30 seconds

07 GSXR 600

The bike used to run fine. I was practicing a slow wheelie, maybe 15mph, a while back and had to bail off the back since I wasn't covering the brake well enough. Bike fell on it's side. Broke the stator cover and water pump housing. This was before I had a cage, only sliders.

Anyway, I have rebuilt it replacing the flywheel, magneto, stator & cover, water pump, etc. Also added all the stunt parts to do things the right way - cage, subcage, etc etc.

I finished up this weekend and tried to fire it up. It only runs about 10 seconds on its own then dies. I can gently rev it or even ride it but it won't last longer than about 30 seconds max.

All the fuses are fine, I just changed the oil and filter so there's no metal shavings in there... The only differences I can think of from before when it ran fine are a small pinhole leak in the radiator (would lack of coolant send some signal for the engine to shut off?) and I disconnected and removed the servo motor from the subframe (I forgot I did that until now, maybe that's affecting the exhaust valve and there's too much or too little backpressure? Exhaust was definitely blowing out the muffler when it was running though). Also I do not have the gauges hooked up right now, but I did plug them in just to test and see if that was the problem and it didn't make a difference.

Any ideas?? This is frustrating after all that work.

Yes, I just filled it up with fresh 93 before trying to fire it up.

And yes, I believe the FI like was on. But it's always been on since I bought. A girl was the first owner and laid it down (low speed) on the right side in its first year. I bought it from her over a year ago and it always had that FI light on ever since.

I would check your Elec. connections on your magneto, stator
Battery... etc.....
