so i was ridn at my spot yesterday and i stopped for a minute and when i went to put the bike into neutral to start it the bike wouldnt crank over.

it goes into neutral fine but the green led light doesnt come on so the fuel doesnt prime when the kill switch is turned on.

when i hit the starter theres nothin. its like the kill switch is off.

iv been told it might be the reed switch?

has anyone had this problem or have any idea where the reed switch for neutral is?

 

jump the neutral safety switch the wires are in the harness that goes to the front along with the headlight. i can not remember the colors of the wires

 

i checked out the wiring diagram and theres only one neutral indicator wire in the harness?

what do i need to do to that wire to bypass it?

and do u know wat color it is yet? would make things a wholeeee lot easier! haha

 

i just pulled mine apart and looked.

jump the red with green stripe with brown dots to the green with white stripe with brown dots pull them out of the big plug by the front harness and that should fix it. then you can start in any gear
