Angry Dies while accelerating

I was in an accident about a month ago. Finaly decided that i should take a look at fixing my bike. I have an 04 CBR600F4i with about 24k miles. Before the accident, i was planning on replacing the cluth plates and disks since the shifting wasnt as crisp any more.

Any ways. First I removed the front cowling (since there was no way to mount it any more) and everthing that attached to it so i could plug in the cluster and lean sensor. Taped the cluster and lean sensor up so bike would start. Starts fine, ideals fine, free revs to limiter(i dont normaly do that), shifts like normal, but when i accelerate hard in frist gear(havent tryed the others yet since i dont want to take it on a major road with no headlights) the bike will die. It dosnt make a guargling sound, all my lights stay on, its as if some one fliped my engine switch. I checked all my wires and cables and nothing seems out of place.

I am an avionics tech by trade, and i thought i knew a little bit about bikes, but this thing is kicking my A$$. i have searched for a few days on fourms from many sites, posted this messaged a few times and got little to no answers.

I would be willing to trade beer (orange county, ca) and or eletrical work if any one could point me in the right direction.

Re: Dies while accelerating

(bump)

Some one told me that it could be the clutch. But I still say if that was going bad my RPS would be going up.

Re: Dies while accelerating

Disable the tip sensor.
Tape the 2 outer wires together and cover the center one.
Dont see how it could be the clutch
Make sure the battery contacts are clean and tight

If not, use avatar
