clutch problems

clutch problems

96 gsxr 750 the guy i bought this bike from put a new clutch in the day before i bought it everything seemed ok but when i really hammer on it and get the rpms up to about 7000 to 9000 it feels like the clutch slips pretty bad i think he might have put car oil in it i've heard that car oil can make a clutch slip but am not to sure how true that is everything else is fine a great bike this is the only problem i'm having i now the guy pretty good and he knows what he is doing but could he have fuked something up or not have it adjusted right i've played with the adjustment and no change any suggestions would great

Oil wont really matter....if its not your adjustment then I would say he didnt put a clutch in it..or forgot some springs...lol, I dunno.

o yes oil will MATTER.. and also you gotta break the clutch in!!

and isn't it also a fact, that when you use more oil then stock (like I do, 1Liter extra oil) it slips more often and sooner ?
