GPR steering stabilizer

Anyone ever changed the fluid in one of these things. I can tell mines not working like it used to setting 1 feels like setting 6. I've had it for awhile like at least a couple of years. I've heard you just put 80wt trans/gear oil in them but i've never actually done it. Is it easy or should i just send it out to GPR?

Re: GPR steering stabilizer

Ive never done it.. but I thought your supposed to submerge it in the oil you want and work it back and forth untill all the air is out? I think it's something you can do yourself.

I'm sure someone will have more input on this.

Re: GPR steering stabilizer

Mine was leaking oil so I sent it back to GPR, it was only $35. They change the seals and the oil and it was only gone 1 week including shipping and I live in DE, so they are quick.

I would be down for that as soon as I can slow down enough that I am not flying all over the lot. I am working on getting slow stuff down now so i can actually use a ******* lot, LOL. I have one spot that I can ride in and it is about to go away so I need to do something soon.

Where are you? Up around Bear or Newark?

Tim

Re: GPR steering stabilizer

$35? That's worth it...good info.

Listen to Brent, come on up sometime, hang out....ride if you want. Of course slower stuff is better for the lots.
