Quick ?

i have a 530 chain/ sprocket on my bike now, but just got a little bigger sproket last night but it's for a 520 chain. will it mess up the sprocket if i run it w/ a 530 chain? i heard yes and no. so now i leave it up to the SL community.

summary- will my 530 chain beat the **** out of my sprocket faster than normal?

thx for advice in advance.

stupid squid.........lol j/k

the sprocket will probably wear on one side more then the other due to the fact that the chains to wide for the sprocket and will tend to twist and ride on one side .....

with that being said yes it will wear quicker but how much quicker who knows

Re: Quick ?

Either buy the right chain or the right sprockets...

They have sized designations for a reason.
