12 help, bike problem.
Ok heres the problem. I have a 97 GSXR 600 with stock gearing. Everytime i try to clutch it at slow speed to 12 the bike blurbles, comes up a little at low RPM and comes back down. I originally thought it was my floats and i readjusted them (still a little off) but no improvement. First gear wheelies at higher speeds as well as 2nd and third are no problem. Could it be my gearing? Is it that I am trying to clutch a stock geared 600 up at like 5 mph to 12 the problem? I ordered new sprockets -2+3, is this going to help with the stumbling?

Sounds like you are not hitting the power band yet. I goose the throttle a few times while clutched in to get the engines rotating mass going. I then bring it to about 4500rpm and controll the rpms as I let out the clutch controlled but quickly. The object is not to let the rpms drop too quickly untill the bike comes up. I know it sound weird and not easy to do, but it works.
