Ubly Dragway Oct 12th - by Speedy
Mike Couldn't post so he asked that I relay this message for him:
Hey all Lidio from Alternative Auto Performance(all you Mustang guy's should know him) is having his annual gathering at Ubly Dragway on October 12. Gates open at 11 and racing starts at noon till I think 6:00. It cost $20 to run. They are pretty easy on the requirements. Helmet, leather coat(not sure about nylon ones like J.R. Ballistic's) gloves and some type on boot. I've ran thier twice with basic gear and have never had a problem. I'd take my car if the engine was back in it, but the bike will have to do again this time. If anyone has any questions you can e-mail me at MOPARMO44@aol.com or just post and I'll get back to ya as soon as I can. I'll find out about the nylon Ballistic style jackets to see if they are ok to run with. I no longer have a leathr coat myself. I bought a nylon Fieldshear jacket. So who's going?????

OK here it goes. Ubly opens the gates at 10am racing starts at noon. So I want ot meet up at the Meijers at Van Dyke expressway and 26 mile at 9:30 and we will be leaving at 10:00 so make sure your on time. I'll be there closer to 10 because I have to go pick Jester up. We should roll into Ubly right around noon. The route will take is Van Dyke(M-53) up to M-46 east to M-19 north right to the track. The track is on your righthand side of M-19 just before the town of Ubly. Not hard to find at all. I know Jim(UR2SLOW) lives off of I-94 so he'll be going up M-19 all the way. So anyone over on that side that wants to meet up PM him or post. ALSO Eunice NEEDS to know how is going to show up at her place after the track. She needs this info. ASAP. One last thing. The weather as of now(per channel 7) Saturady low 56 high of 72 chance of rain 50% but not till evening time.

Chuck if you video tape can we hook up your camera to the TV? Then ya'll can see your asses speed across a 62 inch big screen. While mine will be crawling.... :D
UPDATE: Since it seems theres alot going on SAT & people car poolin (some may not want to come over and might want to head back right away) I am going to drop the cookout... but if anyone wants to come after the races to watch Chuck's footage on the big screen you're more than welcomed.... that's if Chuck comes over... ?? I'll still have the beer here....

Nah... made it past 100... and couldnt find the damn place to change the title anyways.. so **** it... plus I had some **** to take care of and kept off the boards for a bit till I got things straightened out... that's all...

They are calling for rain on saturday now 
well hope it doesnt...i will be getting there at like 11 so i can unload the car and put the slicks on and stuff. Hope to see alot of people there if the weather holds out

Yeah I hope the weather hold out also. Every year I've been there it has rained in the morning but cleared up and turned out to be great weather. You got to remember that this is not the same weather as D-town forcast. Close but not the same. I was there in May and know one showed up because it was looking bad but it was sunshine up there. Hope to see alot of peeps.

Since I'm already up here...I can post Saturday morning what the weather is like so you know ahead of time...
SpeedyZ is right there are days when it's sunshine and pretty here and you guys are gettin rain.... and vice versa...
Hope this will help some of ya'll out that gotta leave early....

OK so who's going????? Post up with your plans so we all know whats going on. I'll be at Miejers by 10:00 with my truck and trailer.I'll bring my video camera and digital camera. Anyone want to stunt on the way up? I'll tape it. To bad The wizz wasn't going. Could get some 3rd gear standups on film:D

Yeah I'll be draggin the trailer, so if anyone needs me to cary stuff for them I'll have room. I'll bring a cooler and some ice to. Maybe while were at Meijers we can buy some pop or water instead of buying at the track. Wish I had a small BBQ grill.
