Re: 636 Crankcase Vent Solutions
parts needed
1 T fitting
1 90* elbow
9 small hose clamps
3 feet of hose
1 small screw
how to
1 take off the air box
2 remove the kleen air parts from top of the valve cover.
3 cut to pieces of hose to put the T fitting where the kleen air valve came from with the T fitting facing the rear of the bike
4 cut another piece of hose about 3 inches long and connect the T fitting to the 90* elbow. elbow facing the right side of bike.
5 connect the remain hose to the elbow and run to the vent in the back of the motor that orignaly went to the air box.
6 put small screw in the small vacume line that went to the kleen air valve
7 put hose clamps on all connection.
8 put air box back on
9 lower tank
10 go ride wheelies
hope this helps if still not clear go to
GIXXER.COM and do a search for the PAIR MOD that is what the racers call it there should be plenty of info on there for this modification.

Re: 636 Crankcase Vent Solutions
ok I can now say that the pair valve mod works 100% . I also put the fitting into the valve cover like I was told and ran the hose all the way back to the trunk under the rear seat. I got a little bottle of gatorade and drilled the cap and siliconed the hose through it. I just stuffed a rag into the bottle and punched a hole at the end of it.
so far I been beat the bike up pretty good and not a drop of oil is getting into the bottle.
I was complaining before about oil smoking everywhere but I think I determained the cause of that to be worn out piston rings. I got lots of blow by.
Thats what you get for blowing god knows how many tires on the revlimeter all the time and running nothing but cheap *** wal-mart oil lol.
time to re ring the pistons and do it all over again.
