hears the deal. over the winter i decided to do a couple of things to the bike. most importantly fix a hole in my frame. i took off the gas tank, all the plastics, and the front fairing and stay. got the frame welded, im know installing my parts, and the ****ing thing wont start. when i had it welded, i disconnected the battery and cpu, when i turn the key, the primer(that high pitched sound that lasts a second doesnt do it) doesnt come on, but it turns over. help please.

 

look in the post that says "f4i fuel pump wont turn on"it could be a similar thing?

 

you should just sell me your plastics for my 1000rr before you stunt them up and they become all crunchy

 

sorry dude, to late, 2 months after i bought, they all got ****ed. thats an old picture.

 

double check you have all the electricals plugged in. and you didn't unplug the ecu with the key on did ya?

That sound is the fuel pump, if you don't hear it, the fuel injection has no pressure and there is no chance the bike could start.

 

had that happen on my gixxer, the computer fried cuz the harness was shorting on the frame, look for the computer controlled ground wire coming out of the cpu and jump it to the ground on the battery and it should turn the pump on but it will stay on cuz the timer in the computer is bypassed.if that works get a new cpu
