I took all my fairings off and wired up 2 foglights as my headlight. I think it's draining my battery though, anyone have this problem

 

is the TO the same in the 06 600 gsxr?

 

it shouldn't drain your battery. foglights aren't that much drain on your battery.

 

Hey, I just got a '02 750 and there is a list of problems such as worn out rear tire, a oil leak and a a pressure problem with the rear brake and i was wondering if i can get some suggestions on what my brake problem could be.

 

can anyone tell me if a k3 600 gas tank will fit a k3 1000,ive bought one real cheap of e-bay already bashed in. thanks
i havent actually got it yet,but a buddy told me it wont fit.

 

air in the lines. if you can hit the brakea few times and the brake gets stronger then there is an air bubble in it. bleed it again.

 

Last night I was in the lot practicing and all of a sudden the F1 light turns on.. Bike still runs and turns on fine. But has slight hesitation after 7k rpms. Took the tank off last night and made sure everything was connected and everything looked fine to me. I dont exactly know how to pull codes on it. So would anyone have more or less of an idea what it can be? Thanks in advance.

 

there is a 4 prong plug under the seat (almost near the back seat) that only has 2 wires going into it. it doesn't plug into anything. jump those 2 wires together then turn the bike on, there will be a code on the guages.

If it is ,and is mounted right ; it only moves side to side not back and forth

sorry 2000 gsxr 750 and it was mounted in the same place as the one in the pic, looks a little diff, but i guess i see how it works but still only looks like side to side

 

IT is your TO sensor but in a high wheelie i could possibly wiggle around and move to one side causing the bike to shut off. Dissable it. I got the same advise.

 

Is there a way to bypass the fuel pump relay? I am getting a C-41 code, the bike will turn on, the fuel pump will not cycle, it will turn over but it will not start up. I took the relay out and jumped 2 of the 4 wires together and the fuel pump kicks on but it stays on. Is there a way around this relay? Thanks for any help

 

More than likely the fuel pump.. They are known for going out on gixxers.. Had the same problem at one time, and after I got a new tank it went away. If you got a buddy with another gixxer that doesn't have a FI light on, and put his tank on your bike, start it up and I bet it won't come on.

 

Glue that b*tch right in the midddle where it's at in the middle. problem solved!

 

going to put a bar on the 04 gixxer how far off the tip of the tail should i start with ?

 

most of them have to be right on the plastics of the tail to sit full 12. you want it full 12 or more otherwise it won't be stable at all on the bar and it will be dangerous.

 

+1 with the bar right at the tip of the tail of an 04/05 it sits at 12.

i believe so, i think iv put the newer tank031k on an o2 6. check fuel pump plug

 

Does anyone know if an 04 750 fuel pump would work on an 02 1k? I'd rather ask here first before going through the mission for nothing...thanks in advance...
