F3 Fuel pump/ground problem?

Running a 98 F3. When you touch the fuel pump, you should feel a clicky sound and feel that its working. Three months ago mine wasn't working, so I replaced it. Now, it seems that this fuel pump isn't working anymore. At times if I drive down the road and constantly feel it with my hand, I can feel it working sometimes. Is this a ground problem? Or a fuel pump problem? Suggestions...

could be a coil....your #2&3 plugs power the fuel pump....just recently had a coil go bad, and whil trouble shooting discovered that since i thought that my fuel pump was out, but it wasn't.....so then i knew it had to be a coil

if you give up you can always just hardwire a Autozone pump in there.. thats what i did.. $29... end of troubleshooting

Yeah, the bike runs fine. I might try replacing the coil. All my dash lights seem to be going out all of a sudden too. I wouldn't think that the coil would have anything to do with this though? Anybody ever tried replacing dash lighting?
