Im New To All This Stuff. Why Are You Putting 929 Parts On A F4i? Just Curious?

 

f4i comes stock with conventional forks that seem to have stutter problems when doing long stoppies.....929/954 forks are inverted and alot stronger, i.e. they are better then the f4i stock forks....

 

f4i frontvork is soft also..

i'm also looking for a different frontvork

i can get a frontvork from a 636 04 but i don't no if it fits

 

i've been looking at some gearing options.........i'm thinking -1 +12or+14 anyone running this combo? what are you getting for slow speed wheelies? what about top speed?

 

we used a 636 just to see and it works you have to use a 929/954 triple an a little mod to the lower triple 636 wheel, brakes

-2 +10 i think is the best setup i don't know about top speed but i can get spreaders up in 3rd, seat stander and stand ups in any gear :YEAH

 

anyone hear anything about putting 600RR front end on the f4i, i'm talking about the 2005 inverted setup...???????????? anyone???????

anyone use the moto heaven street stunt sprocket kit??? it says its like a -1/+12 or 14.......anyone know what exactly it is?

 

just trust me -2 +10 is the way to go. 16 up in the rear does not respond the same as -2 +10 even though they are both 16 up total.

u can use the f4i wheel, but you have to machine some spacers and bushings..
id recommend just getting the 929/954 front wheel and axle...
as far as good deals go......... just keep looking and asking......
ebay has em, but they go for a pretty good price......... good luck..
